Children’s Art Club Returning September 22nd

After a long summer break, our art club for children is returning! Starting again on Friday the 22nd of September and running alongside school term times, our art club starts at 5pm and runs for an hour until 6pm, and all children are welcome. Come along and have some fun doing arts and crafts with our resident artist Simone Clavin. We hope to see you there! Cost €5 per session

Over the last few weeks, the staff of this Resource Centre have been collecting books and sorting through them to bring a new service to our centre; that’s right, now we have our very own library! We have a wide selection of books, from nursery books to inspiring tales of loss and success, to informational books about your mind and body, for boys and girls, men and women of all ages! We have 200+ books which you can borrow for a maximum of one week (two if you renew). One person may take, at most 2 boooks at any one time and a family can take up to 5. It’s […]

Kells people’s Resource Centre would like to extend a massive thank you to Jigsaw Meath, and in particular Damien Coyle, who held a successful workshop based around supporting the mental health of young people in our lives. The workshop touched on the many things we can do to support young people such as being that ‘one Good Adult’ in their lives, someone they can come and talk to and how to recognize signs of poor mental health and also make point out the support services that are available in the area for young people.
